MISSION STATEMENT:

The Mission of KORD is to improve the life of the community witin a 30km radius of KSW by facilitating the provision of loans and managing the funding of investment and operation of infrastructure projects.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF KORD:

KORD manages the identification and delivery of infrastructure projects and financial services to communities within 30km of Kakira Sugar Works. KORD's intial focus in on:

-facilitating the provision of loans to outgrowers

-investing in infrastructure development projects such as roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other community needs

-strengthening care and suppport for orphans and vulnerable children through educational sponsorship, pyschosocial support, income generating activities, and food security

-addressing community priority needs as determined by needs assessments
