KORD Funding
The current funding of KORD activities is from contributions per tone of cane supplied to Kakira Factory by KORD’s two partners, KSW and BSGA. The funds are meant to meet the infrastructure and finance needs of the outgrowers and the general community in Jinja, Kamuli, Iganga and Mayuge Districts. However, KORD cannot meet all the needs of the community with only this limited funding. In order to enhance great impacts on livelihoods of the target beneficiaries, KORD continues to seek out donors to collaborate with and finance sustainable projects.

KORD Donors
KORD relies on valuable donors to create beneficial partnerships and fund numerous projects to benefit the outgrowers communities. The following organizations have successfully partnered with KORD through co-financing and facilitation of projects:

Health Initiative for Private Sector (HIPS), World Bank, The French Embassy, Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST), Makerere University, AFFORD, AFREPREN/FWD, Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD)
