VOLUNTEERING:
Due to limited funding and staffing, KORD values volunteers. Volunteers have opportunity to greatly contribute to KORD's programs, in addition to gaining quality field experience.

INTERNSHIPS:
KORD supports individuals who are looking to get experience in the community development field and values added expertise. KORD has hosted interns from all over Uganda, USA, and Kenya.

Volunteers and Interns can assist in the following ways:
-Pyschosocial support and counseling
-Health education and workshops
-Fundraising and donor campaigns
-Project monitoring and evaluation
-IT and Website development
-Public relations and promotional materials
-Facilitating existing and future projects

KORD is looking for volunteers and interns with the following skills, knowledge or interests:
SKILLS - engineering, grant writing, computer skills, web design, photography, construction, grant writing, fluency in Lusoga, Luganda, English, ability to work well in rural communities, ability to work independently and in teams

KNOWLEDGE- social work, health/medicine, agriculture, infrastructural development, energy saving technology, apprenticiship program management, project evaluation and programming, teaching, counseling

INTERESTS- community development, agricultural development, energy saving technology, pyschosocial support, education, sustainable infrastructure, women issues, enviromental protection, responsible business management, nonprofit management, field work in rural communities
